OSU Celebrates Homecoming With 'Walk Around'

STILLWATER, OK -- Oklahoma State University fans are gearing up for a big weekend in Stillwater. It's Homecoming with the Pokes set to take on the Missouri Tigers Saturday night.

Another big event is called the "Walk Around." It gives students and fans a chance to see elaborate displays put together by fraternities and sororities on campus. Friday afternoon many students were putting the finishing touches on their displays.

Thousands of alumni pack the campus streets for the event as fraternity and sorority members work around the clock on their elaborate house decorations.

Homecoming festivities continue Saturday with a parade.  Garth Brooks, Barry Sanders and Robin Ventura will serve as Grand Marshals.  The trio will be inducted into OSU's Alumni Hall of Fame.
