ROGERS COUNTY -- The Rogers County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help in finding Cory Matthew Wolf, 38. Wolf is considered armed and dangerous and is wanted in Rogers and Mayes Counties.
On the Oklahoma Department of Corrections web site , Wolf is described as a 5'7" American Indian male with brown hair and blue eyes. He weighs about 165 pounds.
Anyone with information on Wolf is advised not to approach him but to contact the Sheriff's Office at 918-341-3535 or call 911.
Wolf has been seen in a 2006 black Toyota Corolla with an Oklahoma tag of 513-EOU. The Corolla has body damage to the right rear bumper and right rear tail light. The car also has front bumper damage.
Wolf's criminal record includes a conviction for a drive-by shooting, escaping from the Mayes County Jail and auto theft related offenses.
"This is a man that we'd really rather have in jail than on the lamb," said Sheriff Scott Walton. "He's considered extremely dangerous, most likely armed, and we have no reason to think he would hesitate to hurt or kill someone."
Wolf frequents the Tulsa metro area, and the Rogers County Sheriff's Office hopes that asking the public for help will result in his capture quickly.
