SAND SPRINGS, OK -- Pratt Elementary, Boyd Middle School and the Sand Springs 6th Grade Center were placed on lock down for a time Tuesday morning after school resource officer spotted a suspicious car parked near the school.

Sand Springs Police say as the officer tried confronted two people in the car, both fled on foot.

Assistant Police Chief Mike Carter says the school resource officer was able to apprehend one of the suspects, but the other got away.

Police arrested 24-year-old Danny Andrew Bryan of Sapulpa.

He says the car was parked near 32nd and Skyline Drive and they suspect it contains a mobile meth lab.

Sand Springs Police are still searching for the second suspect, which they believe is armed.  He is described as a white male in his 20's and weighing about 280 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sand Springs Police at 918-245-8777.
