TULSA, OK -- A semi truck driver found himself in a mess and then in jail overnight.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the truck driver was eastbound on U.S. Highway 412 at the Verdigris River bridge when he missed the curve.
Instead, his truck went straight for about 300 yards.
The driver tried to get back up on the highway, but burned up some of his tires in the process.
Traffic was light at the time of the accident, so there were no major travel problems.
The driver was taken to jail for operating a vehicle while under prescription medicine.
