OSU Regents Give Okay To OSU-Tulsa President Designee

STILLWATER, OK-- The Oklahoma A&M Board of Regents approved Tulsa businessman Howard Barnett as the new president at Oklahoma State University at Tulsa on Friday.

The regents that govern OSU and several other state universities met Friday at the OSU campus in Stillwater. The board of trustees at OSU-Tulsa approved Barnett's appointment earlier this week.

A native of Tulsa, Barnett is the managing director of TSF Capital in Tulsa and previously served as chief of staff for former Governor Frank Keating.
