Grant To Support Jenks Chinese Education Initiative

JENKS, OK -- Some Jenks students are getting another boost for their education in Chinese.  The school received another federal grant worth $1 million to pay for the Jenks Public Schools Chinese Initiative.  

Jenks received a grant for $1.5 million for the program just last week.  The grants will support every grade at Jenks Southeast Elementary for the next 5 years.

The kids will get half their daily lessons in English and the other half in Chinese.
