TULSA, OK -- A former Tulsa middle school teacher accused of sexually assaulting a teenage boy has been bound over for trial.
Following a preliminary hearing in Tulsa County District Court on Friday, John Gisler was ordered to stand trial on several charges including rape and possession of child pornography.

Tulsa Public Schools terminated his position as a teacher last month.
Gisler's next court date is Tuesday, September 8.
