Judge Sentences Man To Prison For Tulsa Murder

TULSA, OK -- A man convicted of killing his estranged wife's boyfriend in June 2008 is heading to prison for 17 years and six months.

Prosecutors say John Larkin shot Jessie Hurt during an argument.

Larkin was convicted last week and the judge confirmed the sentence Monday.

Larkin will also spend four years in prison for having a firearm after a felony conviction.

The sentences will run consecutively.
