Superintendent Wants Review Of Jenks Athletic Department

JENKS, OK - The superintendent of Jenks Public Schools wants an investigation into the athletic department's policies, procedures and past practices.

Dr. Kirby Lehman has asked that attorney Doug Mann with Rosenstein, Fist and Ringold conduct the probe.  Dr. Lehman has asked that the review be conducted relative to issues involving student athletes.

Mann is to report to the district and the OSSAA.  A timeline for the investigation was not set. 

The district says it has retained Mann to provide objectivity to the investigation.
