Jay Woman Killed, Husband Injured In Motorcycle Wreck

UNDATED -- A Jay woman died as the result of a motorcycle accident in Delaware County Friday morning.

Catherine S. Bradley, 45, was a passenger on the Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by her husband.

The wreck happened at about 9:48 a.m. as the couple was driving on a county road about a mile west of Jay.

According to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the motorcycle struck an embankment after failing to make a curve.

Catherine Bradley was ejected about 10 feet. Gary Bradley, 48, was transported to Grove General Hospital in good condition with head injuries.

Neither driver nor passenger was wearing a helmet, according to the trooper's report.
