TULSA, OK -- Friday begins a three day Oklahoma sales tax holiday weekend.
From 12:01 a.m. Friday to midnight Sunday, certain clothing and shoes priced under $100 are exempt from sales taxes. This includes both state and local sales taxes.
State officials say retailers are required to participate and may not charge tax on items that are legally tax-exempt during the sales tax holiday.
The state of Oklahoma passed the measure three years ago.
