Tulsa Teen Charged With First Degree Murder

TULSA, OK -- A charge of first degree murder is filed against 17-year-old Joseph Farmer.

Tulsa County prosecutors say Farmer shot and killed 51-year-old Adrian Washington last month at the Bradford Square Apartments.

According to police reports, Farmer admitted to calling his mother and telling her he thought he'd killed someone who'd attacked him, but realized it was the wrong person. His mother turned him over to police.

Farmer is being held without bond.
