Tuition Plan Announced For City Of Tulsa Employees

TULSA, OK -- Education for employees is the idea behind the City of Tulsa's newest scholarship program.  Mayor Kathy Taylor announced on Monday that City of Tulsa employees will have a scholarship for higher education available at OSU Tulsa and OU's Tulsa.          

Mayor Taylor says this is something she's wanted to do for a long time.

"Before I left, I just wanted to see if I could get something done to help employees be able to progress, be able to complete their education and we have great public universities right here in Tulsa and of course they came to the table," said Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor.

Employees that choose to attend OSU-Tulsa will only have to pay half price for tuition and those that go to OU Tulsa will receive 10% off tuition there.
