TULSA, OK -- Nicole Partridge, the woman who told police that her boyfriend doused her with gasoline then set her on fire, died Wednesday evening, according to Bill French with the Tulsa Fire Department.
Partridge, 33, had been in critical condition in Tulsa's Hillcrest Burn Unit since the July 10 incident.
Tulsa Police arrested the 23-year-old Tulsa man, Kenneth Kelly McCurley, who Patridge said threw a cigarette on her after pouring a flammable substance on her during a domestic dispute.
Partridge, called for help July 10 after being critically burned over about 80% of her body, from the neck down.
McCurley fled the scene and was arrested in Wagoner the next day. He told police that Patridge's injury was an accident.
