Backhoe Cuts Tulsa Natural Gas Line

TULSA, OK -- A 4-inch high pressure natural gas line was cut in front of a west Tulsa middle school Friday morning. 

Tulsa Fire was dispatched to the scene in the 2000 block of West 41st Street. 

Fire officials say a backhoe at a construction site in front of the school cut into the line. 

Oklahoma Natural Gas was notified and 41st Street was closed in both directions while crews stopped service to the line.
