TULSA, OK -- The News on 6 and Tulsa CW have teamed up with Moody's to provide shoes for kids for the new school year.
It's the Back to School Shoes for Kids drive. You can drop off new tennis shoes for students at any Moody's jewelry store now, through August sixth.
Then Family and Children's Services will get them to school-age kids who need them to help get them off on the right foot once school starts.
"We thought it was a great idea last year to team up with some other companies and try to put shoes on kids' feet. We want to put smiles on their faces by putting shoes on their feet," said Jason Delong, Moody's store manager.
If you'd rather donate money than shoes, you can also drop off checks at Moody's stores or at Family and Children's Services offices.
