Teenage Girls Hospitalized After Broken Arrow Accident

BROKEN ARROW, OK -- Two teenage girls were hospitalized overnight Friday after they were thrown from an SUV in Broken Arrow.

It happened at about 2 a.m. at 209th East Avenue near 81st Street.

Police said the driver ran off the road, hit a guardrail and the vehicle rolled several times.

The driver and passenger were thrown from the SUV, officers said.

Officers said they smelled alcohol on the driver's breath. She was flown to a Tulsa hospital. The passenger was transported by ambulance.

There's no word on their conditions.
