Drugs, Loaded Gun Found In Tulsa Traffic Stop

TULSA, OK -- Three people, who police say are gang members, are in jail following a traffic stop that netted drugs and a loaded gun.

The traffic stop happened shortly before 2 a.m. Friday near 31st and Hudson.

A member of the Tulsa police gang unit recognized the driver of the car from earlier contacts as not having a driver's license, officers say.

When officers went to pull the car over, they say the suspects threw bags of marijuana out the car windows.

When police stopped the car, they also found a 10 mm pistol.

The three men were taken into custody.
