Forward Matt Pilgrim Plans To Sign With OSU

TULSA, OK -- Former Hampton and University of Kentucky forward Matt Pilgrim tells News on 6 Sports Director John Holcomb that he intends to sign with Oklahoma State.

The 6'8'' 245 lbs. transfer says the Cowboys' style of play was a major part of his decision.  He also considered Cincinnati, Memphis and Maryland.  Pilgrim added that he will sign as soon as he receives the proper paperwork and could be in Stillwater by the middle of next week.

After two seasons at Hampton, Pilgrim sat out the 2008-09 season with the Wildcats due to NCAA transfer rules.  However, he is expected to be eligible to play immediately for Oklahoma State.
