Arrest Made In Tulsa Death Of Teen

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police make an arrest in the murder of a 14-year-old boy.  Jeffrey Proctor, 20, was arrested on a first degree murder complaint on Friday.

He's being held in connection with the shooting death of Tevon Mathies.  Mathies was killed on Wednesday at the Birch Place Apartments near 33^rd and Garnett.

According to his arrest and booking report, Proctor admitted to police he was at the scene of the homicide and was in possession of a handgun.

Tulsa Police are still looking for another person of interest in the case.  Tyler Deerinwater is believed to frequent the area of 11^th and Utica.
