TULSA, OK -- Expect to see more mowing around the city of Tulsa this summer.
The mayor is using more than $800,000 in surplus money from one department's budget to get the job done.
Contractors will now mow 13 times this summer - or about every two weeks. Mowing the rights-of-way had been cut back to six cycles because of the budget crunch.
The city will also use some of those surplus funds to boost its graffiti removal program.
