Hot Weather Causing Water Main Breaks

Tulsa, OK -- Scorching temperatures are getting the blame for water line breaks all over the Tulsa area.

There were 16 breaks on Monday, including a 10-inch line near 20^th and Southwest Boulevard.  There have been 117 water main breaks this month.  Of those, 78 were within the past two weeks.        

The average June has 56 breaks.
