TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa man was shot in the jaw during a home invasion late Sunday night.
The incident happened at a home in the 700 block of South Lakewood Avenue just before 11 p.m.
Tulsa Police say three suspects wearing masks entered the victim's home, tied him up, then assaulted him and shot him once in the chest.
Police officers say the suspects then stole several items from the man's home and drove off in the victim's red Dodge mini-van.
The victim was still tied up when the suspects left, but he was able to free himself enough to make a call to police.
The victim was taken to a Tulsa hospital. There is no word on his condition.
Police are still trying to sort out the details.
"Our victim was not real super coherent when we were originally here. We didn't ask him a whole lot about what was taken. We got a few items that were taken that we know of, but we were just really trying to save his life when we got here," said Tulsa Police Captain Shawn King.
Police are still looking for the suspects and mini-van.
Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
