State Charges Filed Against Former Sheriff and Undersheriff

EUFAULA, OK -- The former sheriff and undersheriff of McIntosh County have been formally charged in McIntosh County District Court with one count each of embezzlement by an officer and conspiracy against the state.

Terry Allen and Mykol Brookshire both appeared in an Eufaula courtroom Tuesday.

According to court documents, the charges stem from an incident earlier this year involving Allen and Brookshire and the confiscation of cash from a motorist during a traffic stop in McIntosh County.
