Man Wanted In Tulsa Stabbing

TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa woman is lucky to be alive after she was stabbed allegedly by her common-law husband.

Officers are looking for 38-year-old William Smith.

Investigators say Smith and the victim got into an argument over a truck.  The fight then escalated and police say Smith stabbed the victim in the chest, narrowly missing her aorta, and then stabbed her in the back, very close to her spinal cord.          

She's listed in serious condition.
