OHP Releases Identity Of Fatal Crash Victim

OHP troopers have released the identity of a 15-year-old girl who died Saturday in a crash just outside of Claremore.

ROGERS COUNTY -- Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers have released the identity of a 15-year-old girl who died Saturday in a crash just outside of Claremore.

Troopers say Courtney Gardiner of Claremore was pronounced dead at the scene by the medical examiner.

Courtney was riding in a 1999 Oldsmobile driven by 17-year-old Felicia Renee Gardiner.

Troopers say Felicia ran a stop sign on a county road and was hit by a 2004 Dodge pickup driven by 48-year-old Robert Lee Cox.

Christian Vargas, 17, was another passenger in Felicia's vehicle. He was flown to a Tulsa hospital and was admitted in stable condition with a head injury.

Madison Gardiner, an 18 month- old, was transported to a Tulsa hospital and has been treated and released.

The driver of the pickup, Robert Lee Cox, was transported and has been treated and released.

Gwen Cox, 49, was with Robert Lee at the time of the crash and was not injured.
