Tulsa Crash Kills Motorcyclist

TULSA, OK -- A 32-year-old motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Tulsa early Friday morning.

The wreck happened around 2 a.m. at Pine and Lewis.

Tulsa Police say two motorcyclists who were westbound on Pine had stopped at the traffic light at Lewis.

When the light changed, police say one of the cyclists accelerated rapidly, apparently losing control and hitting a light pole.

Police say Richard Henderson III was not wearing a helmet and that he died on impact.

Police blocked off Pine between Utica and Lewis for several hours to investigate the wreck and to clean up debris.
