Empty SUV Found In The Middle Of Arkansas River

TULSA, OK - Tulsa Police and Fire are investigating an SUV found in the middle of the Arkansas River Wednesday morning. 

Tulsa Fire says the SUV is a newer model Ford Flex, located near the low water dam at 31st and Riverside Drive.

Firefighters say the SUV was empty. Fire officials say it appears the vehicle has been in the river for a while.  The water above the dam has dropped enough so that it was exposed Wednesday morning. 

Police are now trying to determine how the SUV got into the river in the first place.
