Driver Arrested After Striking Tulsa Utility Pole

TULSA, OK -- One woman is arrested after driving her car into a utility pole overnight.

Tulsa Police say the woman had two small children in the car when she drove through a stop sign a little after 11 p.m. Wednesday. She slammed her car into a utility pole in the 300 block of East Virgin, but only suffered minor injuries.

The two children were not hurt.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI. Both children were taken to a local shelter.
