Woman Crashes Car Into Tulsa Apartment Building

TULSA, OK -- A woman crashed her vehicle into a Tulsa apartment building early Saturday morning.

The incident happened at about 4:30 a.m. at Highland Apartments located in the 7900 block of East 59th Street.

Officers with the Tulsa Police Department say the driver was driving drunk when she jumped the curb onto a pedestrian bridge, removed the railing and slammed into an apartment building.

The vehicle crashed into a first floor bedroom.

Officers say that particular building was being remodeled and nobody was living there.

The driver was arrested.
