TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa area has had a record-setting 22 straight days with at least a trace of rain. Now, a significant change in the overall weather pattern will finally bring some sunshine, said News On 6 Meteorologist Dick Faurot.
Faurot said to expect skies clearing Saturday night and a lot of sunshine Sunday.
Temperatures Saturday will reach the upper 60s to near 70.
Sunday will be sunny, but Faurot said temperatures will be well below 79, which is normal for this time of year.
Monday, expect sunshine with highs in the upper 70s, followed by 80s the rest of the week.
Winds will be returning to a more southerly direction, which means warmer nights for much of next week, Faurot said.
