TULSA, OK -- You can now come face to face with a storm, without ever leaving your home. From thunderstorms to tornadoes, hail to high winds, whatever the threat, you can now track it from home.
"This is something that 20 years ago, nobody ever dreamed of. Even five years ago, well some day. But it's here, it's now, it's incredible," said Warn Team Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer.
Newson6.com has a new feature called Storm Tracker. It allows you to track the storm as well as ride along with storm chasers from the comfort of your chair.
"We have so many people who want to go out and see what a tornado really looks like so the good thing is they can do it from the safety of their home," said Warn Team Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer.
The user chooses what to add to the map: the latest lightning information, hail strikes and you can even zoom into your own neighborhood.
