LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Heavy rains across Arkansas over the last three days left behind plenty of full rain gauges.
The highest total came in the east Arkansas city of Clarendon, where 8.32 inches of rain fell. The numbers were recorded by the National Weather Service over a 72-hour period, Friday through Sunday.
High rainfall totals were logged across the state. Morrilton had 6.34 inches, Wooster 6.26, Warren 5.92 and Leola 5.68.
Others with high totals include Hattieville 5.31, Star City 5.17, Des Arc 5.10, Marianna 4.95, Dardanelle 4.92, Camden 4.78, Murfreesboro 4.67, Cabot 4.57, Pine Bluff 4.42, Crystal Valley in Pulaski County 4.40, Prescott 4.25, and Hampton 4.09.
Flood advisories and warnings are posted in parts of the state.
Other 3-day rainfall totals include North little Rock 3.81, Texarkana 3.57, Mena 3.14, Stuttgart 3.10, Highfill 2.95, Harrison 2.46, Bentonville 2.38, Fort Smith 2.21; Fayetteville 1.86, Mountain Home 0.84 and Jonesboro 0.72.
