TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa man pleads guilty to a second degree murder charge.
David Earl Donaldson was scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on a first degree murder charge in Tulsa County District Court on Friday. On Thursday, he waived his right to the hearing and pleaded guilty to second degree murder. He also pleaded guilty to felony charges of pointing a weapon and possession of a firearm after a felony conviction.
Donaldson could be sentenced to up to 35 years on all the charges.
The charges stemmed from the February 18, 2009, murder of Jeanna Coffman at her Tulsa home.
