Swine Flu Tests In Muskogee Come Back Negative

MUSKOGEE, OK -- There are still no confirmed cases of swine flu in Oklahoma.

Muskogee's Jack C. Robinson Veterans Administration Medical Center announced Thursday afternoon, a VA employee tested negative for swine flu.

On Tuesday, the medical center said an employee who had just returned from Cozumel, Mexico appeared to have swine flu symptoms.

Culture samples from the patient were sent to the Oklahoma State Department of Health for evaluation.

VA spokesperson Neda McClellan says they have now learned that the tests show the employee does not have swine flu.
