State's Top Non-Profit Groups Honored

TULSA, OK -- More than two dozen charitable groups were honored in Tulsa on Saturday night.

In addition to receiving awards, they got some much-needed cash.

News On 6 anchor and reporter Lori Fullbright emceed the Oklahoma Non-profit Excellence Awards at the Renaissance Hotel.

Eighteen organizations received $5,000, and nine received $7,500.

The night's big winner, the Oklahoma Blood Institute, took home $10,000. The organiztion helps nearly a quarter-million people every year.
