TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police arrest five people after a traffic stop in midtown Tulsa Tuesday evening.
The incident happened near 61st and Madison.
Police say they were heading to an apartment complex to investigate possible gang activity when they noticed a suspicious vehicle.
Officers pulled over that car and several other vehicles driving around with it.
Police say each of the vehicles was searched and several guns were recovered.
Police say they received several leads of gang activity in the area and even heard of a possible shooting.
"So on following those leads we discovered two weapons, fully loaded, with some cocaine, cash, and we're following up on that information," said Tulsa Police Sgt. Sandy Bayles.
Police officers blocked off part of the road during the search.
Several people were taken in for questioning.
