Tulsa Church Breaks Ground On New Building

TULSA, OK -- Despite the down economy, a church congregation broke ground on a new building Sunday.

People gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking and enjoy some food and games.

The Full Gospel Family Outreach Ministry is focused on making a difference in north Tulsa. Bishop Harold W. Jones says the new church near 56th Street North and Cincinnati Avenue will do just that.

"You serve God by serving humanity, and we just want to try to serve this community," Jones said. "Any church that doesn't make a difference in this community is not a church."
