OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- The state is relaxing some rules it passed a year-and-a-half ago.
Oklahoma's strict immigration law, House Bill 1804, imposed tough rules to renewing your drivers' license if it had expired. Unanimous votes in the Oklahoma House and Senate and the governor's signature provide some a grace period.
You can now renew your license up to 30 days late without any extra ID.
Broken Arrow Representative John Trebilcock says more of his constituents complained about the stringent driver license rules than any other issue last year.
