SAPULPA, OK -- Sapulpa High School held special programs on Tuesday to keep students safe during prom celebrations. Students wore goggles that simulated being drunk and drove golf carts around a course marked with cones.
Police talked to them about how cones can represent people or cars.
They also had a rollover simulator that showed students what could happen if they were involved in a crash and weren't wearing a seat belt.
"We try to reach out to all of them and if every one of them will take something back from this, we've accomplished everything we wanted," said Sgt. Fred Clark with Sapulpa Police.
