TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa police officer is recovering after being involved in a car accident on Saturday.
The crash occurred shortly before 10 p.m. at 4100 S. Memorial Road. The officer was south on Memorial Road when a pickup truck attempted to turn left in front of her, police say.
The patrol car struck the pickup on its side. The officer and the truck's driver were hospitalized with minor injuries.
Witnesses told police the truck didn't have a turn arrow at the stoplight and failed to yield to the officer.
