Man Found Unconscious After Motorcycle Crash

SAND SPRINGS, OK -- An investigation is underway into a motorcycle crash off Highway 64 and 129th West Avenue in Sand Springs.

Officers with the Sand Springs Police Department said a man was driving down the highway overnight on Saturday when he saw a motorcycle off of the road. He stopped to search the area and found a person unconscious.

Officers said the man didn't have a phone, so he drove into town to tell police.

Police and EMSA responded to the scene. The man was taken to a local hospital with multiple non-life threatening injuries.

Officers said the motorcycle was reported stolen from a home in Prattville.

Officers believe the man was speeding when he crashed. They think it might have been about an hour before he was found.

Officers said the man may have been drinking before the crash.
