Tulsa Man Headed To Trial Over Deadly Shooting

TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa County District Court judge decided on Tuesday that there is enough evidence to send Kevon Silmon to trial for the shooting death of 15-year-old Kordero Coleman.

Tulsa Police say Coleman was visiting a friend's house on January 4, when someone fired shots into the house. Coleman was hit in the back of the head and died.

The attorney for another suspect, Dominique Jones, claims there isn't enough evidence against Jones to move forward.

The judge agreed for now, but Tulsa County prosecutors have filed an appeal.

That appeal will be heard next week.
