TULSA, OK -- A unit at a Tulsa apartment complex was damaged by fire Wednesday.
Tulsa firefighters responded to the fire in the 4800 block of South Jackson Avenue about 3:30 p.m., Capt. Michael Baker said.
Smoke and flames were coming from a second-floor unit when crews arrived.
Three people, including two children, were home but escaped without injuries, Baker said. Red Cross was called to assist the residents.
Firefighters kept the damage to one unit and brought the situation under control in less than 20 minutes.
A fire investigator is working to determine the cause. The damage estimate is unknown.
