TULSA, OK -- Some Tulsa companies are teaming up to keep you safe with a Dare to Prepare.
Williams Company along with Bank of Oklahoma have created the Dare to Prepare Emergency Preparedness Expo.
The event features more than 40 different organizations that all specialize in emergency situations from medical problems to severe weather. Organizers say you can never be too prepared.
"You can come and get a ton of information in one day and feel, you know, get a piece of mind about, you know, knowing that you're prepared if something were to happen," said Andrea Myers with Williams Company.
The event is free and open to everyone. It runs from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the lobby of the BOK Tower in downtown Tulsa.
A number of door prizes will be given away, including two emergency generators.
