TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa family lost everything after a fire destroyed their home. The home caught fire at 1:20 a.m. Sunday in the 5200 block of South 32nd West Place. Tulsa fire investigators have determined the fire was intentionally set.

Crews with the Tulsa Fire Department arrived to find the two-story home fully involved.

Firefighters had to fight the fire from outside because they said the structural conditions were unsafe. Crews said it took about an hour to get the fire under control.

Captain Michael Baker with the Tulsa Fire Department said the home suffered so much damage, the majority of the back of the home collapsed.

Those living in the home were not there at the time of the fire, but they arrived soon after. The Red Cross is helping the family.

Baker said the loss of the home and the family's belongings is more than $300,000.

Investigators don't know who started the fire. If you have any information that could help with the investigation call the Arson Hotline at 596-2776.
