Crash Claims Waynoka Man

A Waynoka man has died after being thrown from his pickup during an early morning crash near Waynoka.

WAYNOKA, OK -- A Waynoka man has died after being thrown from his pickup during an early morning crash near Waynoka.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 36-year-old Ricky Lee Baird died in the crash at about 4 a.m. Saturday in Woods County.

The patrol says Baird was eastbound on Choctaw Road when his pickup crashed into a mailbox, ran off the road and rolled twice, throwing him from the truck. The patrol says Baird wasn't wearing his seat belt and died at the scene.
