Tulsa Honor Students Rewarded

TULSA, OK -- A succulent surprise greeted students Gilcrease Middle School on Thursday afternoon.  Friends of the school shocked students with a barbecue buffet.

They say it's an effort to reward their success.

"It came into my spirit and in my mind, so we decided we were gonna do this. There's so many children getting negative attention and so we're trying to reward good behavior," said Liberty Baptist Pastor Bobby Kendrick, Junior.

The menu consisted of smoked pork loin, turkey and ham with baked beans and homemade rolls.
