Man Arrested In Tulsa Bank Robbery

TULSA, OK -- Police have arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with a January bank robbery.

The Arvest Bank at 4825 E. 36th St. was robbed Jan. 29 by a man who presented a note demanding money and ran from the scene.

Originally, police arrested a different man who was eventually cleared in the case.

On Wednesday, detectives arrested John Brian Soward on a complaint of unarmed bank robbery after receiving tips that he was responsible for the robbery.

He was booked into the Tulsa jail about 9 p.m. with bond set at $25,000.
