Former OSU football standout and Tulsa high school football star Prentiss Elliott has been given a 3-year probation sentence on a felony weapon charge.

TULSA, OK -- Former OSU football standout and Tulsa high school football star Prentiss Elliott has been given a 3-year probation sentence on a felony weapon charge.

Elliott pleaded no contest to two charges including making a threatening phone call and failing to stop at a stop sign.

Elliott was dismissed from the OSU football team in 2005 for violating team policies.
